Sir Theophilus Constantinou, CBE, was the founding director of the Sir Theo Foundation.
Sir Theo passed away on 10 September 2019.
Sir Theo was committed to improving health outcomes for the people of PNG, and devoted considerable resources to that end.
The board of directors of the trustee for the Sir Theo Foundation will continue Sir Theo’s “health mission” and – with Sir Theo’s passion always in mind – looks forward to helping make change for the benefit of all the people of PNG.
George A. Constantinou
George Constantinou is Group Chairman and Governing Director of the Constantinou Group of Companies. As a family-owned business, the group is now in its third generation and has been in operation since the 1950s. The Constantinou Group has interests in construction, property investment, property development and hospitality sectors throughout the South Pacific.
Meghan Toka
Meghan Toka is the Managing Director of Fairfax Consultants. She holds a Master's degree in International and Community Development from Deakin University. Meghan's experience includes roles at the Digicel Foundation and the PNG Red Cross Society. Her dedication to community service is evident through her extensive volunteering and community engagement in Port Moresby.
Gerea Aopi, CBE
Mr Aopi's services to the community and commercial life of PNG include serving as an executive director of Oil Search Ltd (for over 10 years) and as a director of Bank of South Pacific Limited (also for over 10 years). He is sought after for his intimate knowledge of commercial matters in PNG and internationally, and is committed to the promotion of corporate philanthropy in the continued growth of PNG as an economic powerhouse in the region.
Courtney Abel
Courtney is a dedicated lawyer at Ashurst (PNG) and an integral human development advocate. Courtney holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Papua New Guinea and was admitted to the National Court and Supreme Court of PNG in 2023. Courtney has contributed to the community through various efforts including preparations for the Senisim PNG tour in December 2022, and is committed to the human and social development of Papua New Guinea.
